Mad Ferret Is Back!

05/05/2009

Last June a fine bunch of ramshackle students united with their friends, friends of friends and the wider Manchester community to produce the very unexpected highlight of the music/festival calendar.

For many of you it maybe nothing more than a drunken haze. A few actually expected to find a ferret version of Crufts, but for the rest it was a bizarre, gigantic-yet-local party. There were massage maidens, a mixture of local and international acts and Lee "Scratch" Perry was seen first onstage and later leaving with what appeared to be a harem. There was a unique oddball carnival element, no doubt the result of so many people giving up their own time and contributing in whatever way they could to make it truly amazing.

Well, the ferret is back and madder than ever! One day it may need sectioning, but not before a two day, bigger, better, bader party that will leave last year’s wheezing from magic bus fumes.

Are you ready? Are you Mad Ferret?

As ever we will need your help, please get involved… info@madferretfestival.com
